To say that I enjoy an airport lounge while traveling is an understatement. Speaking for myself, relaxing in a lounge has much to do with me preferring an easy travel day, and being slightly introverted. Although I do have a personal blog, and I am sure to my small circle of friends I can be outrageous, I tend to be an introvert and a private person. A couple of ounces of quiet time is worth its weight in gold.
Part One – The Lounge Life – Part 1 | A Look at Global Airport Lounges

Most people I know who travel enjoy the benefits of airport lounges, for the very reason that we just can not deal with all the chaotic energy of an airport. Some individuals need to get ready for a business meeting and require a private space, while others have known the benefits of relaxing in a lounge, and can feel the difference.

If you have a love of airport lounges, curious of what they offer, or to see if this option is for you- please read on. I have simply made up a list on two blogs (Part 1 and Part 2) with photos of airport lounges that I have visited throughout the U.S. and abroad; as well as a link to my Yelp reviews. Additionally, I included information on how to get access into these lounges without buying a first class ticket!

Truth be told, we all love the complimentary food, alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, deluxe coffee machines, swanky atmosphere, personal space with plug-ins, private bathrooms and showers for those who need one. It is the calm before the storm of a trip, especially during long layovers.

I will be real here- Over the years that I have been hitting airport lounges, I have become more sensitive to the airport mayhem outside of a lounge. I am not one for loud environments with thousands of people moving within a small confined space, an airport. Lounges offer time away from the general mayhem of an airport.

I have traveled a lot over the past decade, sometimes as long as two months, and have been to dozens of airport lounges. I have taken photos of what the lounges look like, as well as the food options offered over the years. I hope this will be an informational piece for those who love airport lounges or for those who are considering it- Enjoy!

Read to the end on how to access airport lounges throughout the globe- Happy travels!
